Kali Audio WS-12 V2 is a powered 12-inch studio and live subwoofer from Kali Audio’s Project Watts series. Designed for accurate low-frequency monitoring and small portable PA systems, it pairs a high-excursion woofer with a Class D amplifier delivering 500 W continuous and 1000 W peak power. With bass extension down to 23 Hz, a maximum output of 123 dB SPL, flexible crossover settings and balanced and unbalanced connections, the WS-12 V2 can add controlled low end to stereo, multichannel and live sound systems. Its V2 design also improves the signal-to-noise performance of the outputs.

- Extend a stereo monitoring system down to 23 Hz to assess the lowest notes of bass instruments, kick drums and electronic music more confidently.
- Match the subwoofer to nearfield or midfield monitors using crossover settings from 50 to 110 Hz. The XLR outputs send a complementary high-pass signal to a connected stereo pair.
- Adjust gain and polarity to help the subwoofer blend with the main speakers and suit its placement in the room.
- Use the WS-12 V2 for bass management in a multichannel studio system or configure it as a dedicated LFE channel.
- Connect a separately available footswitch to bypass the subwoofer while checking a mix. Bypass also removes the high-pass filter from the XLR outputs, allowing the main speakers to play full range.
- Connect professional mixers and audio interfaces through the balanced XLR/TRS inputs, or use the RCA inputs with equipment that provides unbalanced outputs.
- Bring substantial low-frequency output to a small portable PA system. Carrying handles, a durable plywood enclosure and an M20 pole cup support transport and stage setup.
